Using the Start Locomotives Driver Command in Surveyor In this tutorial you will learn how to enable a driver command called "Locomotive Start or Shutdown Command" to a session in surveyor.

1. Adding the command After you have started the "Surveyor" module select the "Surveyor Menu" and then select "Edit Session" from the drop down menu as shown in figure 1. You will then be presented with the "Edit Session" window as shown in figure 2. Select "Driver Command" from the list and click on the "Edit" button.

A new window will appear called the "Properties" window. It should say "Driver Command" in the "Name" tag. In the window you will see a list of all the driver commands available. Click on the square box next to "Locomotive start or shut down command" and a green tick will appear as shown in figure 4 and the command will be enabled in driver. Now click on the green tick in both the "Properties" window and the "Edit Session" window.

2. Using the command After the command has been enabled then you can use the command either in driver or surveyor. To setup the command for an AI driver open the "Edit Session" window again and select the "Driver Setup" entry and click on the "Edit" button. Once the "Properties" window is open click on the small green arrow and a pop-up menu will appear. Select the desired command from the menu and it will be added to the AI driver's schedule as shown in figure seven. |

Continue adding driver commands until you have a session created. Once completed you can then switch to "Driver" module to try it out.

To use the command in driver click on the small green arrow and select the command from the menu that appears.
